About Quilt Therapy
Joanne Mahoney and Faith Hohstadt opened Quilt Therapy April 3, 2001. In April 2008 Faith assumed sole ownership of the shop.
We have 900 bolts of quality cottons, batiks, flannels, brushed cottons and specialty fabrics. A wide selection of books, patterns, notions and our very own Gift Shoppe of finished projects makes Quilt Therapy a shop for everyone. Classes are available for beginners to advanced quilters. Our popular Kids Can quilt class is offered every June and July.
Our yarn area boasts quality yarns from Skacel, Plymouth, Brown Sheep, Tofutsi and Dark Horse. We have books and patterns for knitting and crochet. Classes offered for knitting include socks, beginning sweater and felting. If you have questions about knitting or crocheting Faith is available to help.
Faith lives in Imbler with her husband. Guy is a lifelong Imbler resident; Faith moved there in 1965. These high school sweethearts married in 1973. They have two children. Sophie, an accomplished quilter and whiz at color selection, graduates from Walla Walla University in June 2008 and will be off to pursue a career in Finance. Corbin is a student at University of Idaho majoring in Radio, Television and Digital Media Production with a minor in Computer Science and is slated to graduate in 2010.
