CLASS SCHEDULE SPRING 2010
WHEN: Six Tuesdays: September 14 - 19Before registering for a class please review our policies. 5:30-7:30 pm COST: $50 INSTRUCTOR: Faith DESCRIPTION: This 6-week beginner’s series uses the required textbook, It’s El’Ementary by Eleanor Burns. Learn all the basics of piecing a quilt top including strip piecing, half square triangles, flying geese, quarter square triangle, borders and more! Fun for all levels, but we assume you have no experience for this class.  September 9 5:30-7:30pm Cost: $20.00 Instructor: Faith Bring a Fat Quarter and learn to make and attach binding. You will be making bias binding in class and attaching it to a sample project that will be provided for you. This class repeats November 4 Kids Can Quilt August 16-20 8-10 AM Cost: $40.00, pattern included Instructor: Faith This session we will be doing a Crazy Nine Patch project. To start you need just nine (9) Fat Quarters. Pick your favorite fabrics. You will also need some fabrics for borders. The handout is available when you sign up for the class. Students must be at lease 10 years old to take this class. As always we will be happy to help with your fabric selections Mommy & Me June 29 - July 13, Tuesdays 5:30-7:30pm Cost:$30.00, pattern included Instructor: Faith This is a class for parents and children working together to make a kid sized quilt. I have chosen two designs for this class a crazy pieced Nine-Patch and a disappearing nine-patch I call Tossing the Nine-Patch. There is no minimum age for the child, each child will need to be accompanied by an adult. Maximum of four couples for each class will work best. We will be using rotary cutters, scissors and sewing machines to construct your project. Samples of the projects are on display at the shop. Photos coming soon to the website. |
