CLASS SCHEDULE Fall/Winter 2011
Before registering for a class please review our policies. WHEN: Six Tuesdays: January 10-February 14 5:30-7:30 pm COST: $50 INSTRUCTOR: Faith DESCRIPTION: This 6-week beginner’s series uses the required textbook, It’s El’ementary by Eleanor Burns. Learn all the basics of piecing a quilt top including strip piecing, half square triangles, flying geese, quarter square triangle, borders and more! Fun for all levels, but we assume you have no experience for this class.  Series Repeats Feb 21-Mar 27 Aunt Lucy's Baskets January 18 10-4 Instructor: Jo Mahoney Cost: $30.00, pattern provided This project comes to courtesy of Aby Dolinger and Quilter's Newsletter Magazine. Students will learn some great ways to utilize rulers and various applique options for the handles.  Day & Night February 15 Wednesday 10-4 Instructor: Jo Cost: $30.00 Book Required: Day & Night by Eleanor Burns, 20% off  Use simple strip sets of either 2 or 3 fabrics to make beautiful blocks. Then, use all your left over pieces to make bonus blocks. Mountain Medallion March 14 Wednesday 10-4 Instructor: Jo Cost: $30.00, pattern provided
This version of the classic Delectable Mountain block can be used in projects ranging from wall hangings to a king size quilt. Jo includes in her pattern instructions to make miniature blocks that work beautifully for a table topper. |
