CLASS SCHEDULE SPRING 2010
WHEN: Six Tuesdays:
February 16 - March 23 5:30-7:30 pm.Before registering for a class please review our policies. COST: $50 INSTRUCTOR: Faith DESCRIPTION: This 6-week beginner’s series uses the required textbook, It’s El’Ementary by Eleanor Burns. Learn all the basics of piecing a quilt top including strip piecing, half square triangles, flying geese, quarter square triangle, borders and more! Fun for all levels, but we assume you have no experience for this class.  Next series is March 24 -May 4, the final beginning series for spring is May 11-June 15 Binding Basics 5:30-7:30pm Cost: $20.00 Instructor: Faith Bring a Fat Quarter and learn to make and attach binding. You will be making bias binding in class and attaching it to a sample project that will be provided for you. February 7 10-4 Cost: $25.00 Instructor: Jo Book is required, 20% off for registered students. This class uses simple strip sets of either two or three fabrics to bake beautiful blocks and uses all your leftover pieces to make bonus blocks.  February 20 10-4 Cost:$25.00 Instructor: Mary Jane Pattern is supplied This simple quilt is great for the beginner and the more experienced quilter alike. We will learn how to make layered raw edge applique on 9" squares. You can easily adapt this pattern from a wall hanging to a king size quilt  February 21 10-4 Cost:$25.00 Instructor: Faith Handout available with fabric requirements for Queen size quilt. This is a wonderful beginner project. The blocks are easy to construct using strips and chain piecing. The setting possibilities are endless.
